This robot was created as a high-res rendering for a pharmaceutical newsletter to illustrate what could happen with high blood pressure. His dials are going wild and he’s starting to come apart. Click to enlarge.

A multi-chapter set of videos and content aimed at beginning woodworkers. Originally hand-coded in Flex 3 with the Akamai API, later updated to use the Brightcove API.

This animation was created for the launch of a new imaging device for Kodak.
Modeled and rendered in Maya. Parts of some models came from their solid-modeling system , and required conversion and extensive cleanup. Rendered segments were composited in After Effects.
Promotional Bookends

A 3D mockup pf a proposed set of chrome bookends. This was to be a commemorative item for 111 Eighth Avenue, so there were to be three bookends, each a “1″.
Largely due to this presentation, the actual bookends were commissioned and fabricated.
Renovated Warehouse Lobby

A 3D rendering of the lobby of a commercial building under renovation
I measured the raw space so that the my model would be accurate. I also photographed the materials that were going to be used in construction, and then used them for textures.
This was a quickie illustration done for a Powerpoint presentation showing how some proposed Botox Cosmetic advertising pieces might look in a dermatologist’s waiting room.
The 2D Quark documents have been mapped to the dimensional mockups. Modeled and rendered in Cinema 4D.

American Express Blue Card

The team who designed the Blue card wanted a video piece to show how they used various visual elements in the process of developing the Blue card. Originally, this was a set of large “mood boards” consisting of assorted images and objects. They needed something more portable and dynamic.
I animated the 2-D elements in using After Effects, along with several original 3D elements I created in Lightwave and Poser.
State Farm Insurance

The team working on a proposed new branding concept for State Farm needed a way to better convey the concept. This piece was put together for that purpose.
Live video was shot with a Canon XL1, edited with Final Cut Pro. Motion graphics elements were created in After Effects.
